The Gardener

This trailer is a fragment from my first feature-length, unfinished micro-budget film, rooted in contemplative, avant-garde slow cinema. Filmed over two years on an extremely limited budget, the project was developed intermittently and without industrial constraints. Continuing my practice in experimental one-take cinema, the film is composed solely of extreme long, static shots. There is no script and no conventional narrative progression.

Storyline:
A middle-aged expatriate gardener works for affluent local families, sending money home to support his family in Southeast Asia until an unexpected rupture alters the course of his life.
